Studio Policy & Helpful Tips
Sessions require a 2-hour minimum booking.
Please arrive on time for your session. 10-15 mins early (if you have gear to unload).
The hardest question for a recording studio to answer is "How long will it take?" The recording process is very unique to each artist; some will nail everything on the first few takes, and some will need dozens of takes to get it just right. The biggest time waster is the lack of preparation, so work hard during your pre-session rehearsals. That being said, we understand being "in the moment" in the studio. Some of the best recordings happen spontaneously, and we will do everything we can to capture those moments of inspiration.
The equipment will be ready to go when you arrive; make sure yours is as well. Please have your guitars strung before your session to allow for settling. And if you're singing, allow yourself time for a pre-session warm up.
Make sure to bring the ALL gear you will need, including things such as guitar picks, drum sticks and instrument cables. We have an a handful of instruments that you are more than welcome to use but, because we are still working on growing our collection, bring anything you may need with you.
This deposit is non-refundable, but it does cover your initial hour. Full payment is expected no later than the end of your session, and you will not receive any of your session files until your balance is cleared. When the session is complete and payment is fulfilled, we'll be glad to transfer your session files to any external drive (usb flash), audio CD, or email you a download link, etc. You will have up to 30 days after project completion to have your files transferred, so please make the necessary arrangements.
Only bring essential people with you. We realize that a recording studio is a really cool place but, keeping the in-studio distractions to a minimum will save you time and money!
